Halloween has a very special place in my heart. My whole life, my mom, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, and myself would get together to go trick or treating, eat our weight in chili, and trade candy until we passed out.
I also love sprinkles. Like way too much. I decided to mix two Halloween sprinkle medleys to create this sprinkle set. These cupcakes are SO easy to make! Just use a large star tip and pipe a rosette onto the top of the cupcake and roll the sides in sprinkles. I find them sophisticated while still being fun.

We also pretty much only went to Disney World during Halloween time as well. My sister's birthday is the end of September, and instead of a party, she only ever wanted to go to Disney, so off we would go. I have trick or treated in the parks probably 10 times now, and it is my absolute favorite time of year to go to Disney World.
When Halloween time comes around, my favorite thing is to make baked goods and cover my house in pumpkins.
When I was coming up for these Halloween cupcakes, I wanted to make something simple,yet more sophisticated. As much as I love Halloween, I am not a fan of cheesy, over the top bright colors. I wanted traditional colors of Halloween without being too "in your face".
